Best RC Trucks, Find The One For You
Controlling a fast, powerful and gutsy remote control truck is about as fun as it gets. You’ll often find yourself racing around the local track, taking some awesome speed over a makeshift jump or pushing your truck to the limits around some fierce terrain, but it all makes for great enjoyment and thrill.
When going out and doing the above, you want to make sure you are in control of a good, well rounded and durable RC model. You need your truck to handle the toughest of terrains including sand, mud and gravel while still being able to maintain a solid speed and provide a comfortable level of handling. One of the most important aspects of an RC truck should be its durability and ability to handle damage, big knocks and withstand big crashes, because you will find yourself doing that on quite a regular basis.
Fortunately, there are literally hundreds of different remote control truck models available, some of them are good, others great, and some are just purely awesome. Due to this abundance, many people that are only new to the hobby can find it difficult to choose the best RC trucks for them, which can be a daunting process, especially if you don’t have a broad knowledge of models, parts and brands.

2WD or 4WD?
As seen in the above comparison, and in some of my reviews, many trucks include different features and some of them boast their 4×4 or 2×2 capabilities. Generally, when people are looking to buy a remote control truck, they take the drive style into heavy consideration and lean towards the style they want based on the type of terrain that they plan on driving in. In most cases, a 2wd remote control truck will cost less than what the 4wd version of the same truck will cost, which is due to the additional mechanics and servo’s that are included.
If you mainly plan on taking your truck out for a drive on solid ground such as concrete or even gravel, then it would be worth just buying a 2wd capable truck. On the other hand, if you plan on going out and being a bit more adventurous by pushing your truck to its limits on rocky or muddy terrain, than a 4wd capable truck will be better suited for you.
One of the greatest things about remote control trucks is the ability to modify them to suit your needs and driving style. For example, many enthusiasts often upgrade the batteries that come stock standard in their trucks to a much better model (e.g Lipo) which will provide much quicker speeds, longer battery life and increased driving duration. In most cases, the trucks body can also be swapped out for different bodies, this is extremely relevant for the more popular models which have a broad range of bodies that are readily available for purchase.
So, if there is a truck that you are really intent on purchasing or that you really like, but it consists of a feature that you are not completely happy with, don’t let it prevent you from buying it. Most aspects of your truck can be modified to your liking.
Now it’s Your Turn!
You have now seen my comparison and maybe read some of my reviews, so it’s up to you as to which remote control truck you would like to own. In general, most trucks are absolutely amazing to control and provide a lot of fun, so regardless of what choice you make, I am sure you will have a lot of enjoyment and hopefully find the best RC trucks for you..
